Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Williams Dempsey started the match with the kick off. 毛义骋 took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Stapleton. Christopher Stapleton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, 龙西谦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 龙西谦 during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Milltown booed when 深圳帆帆队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龙西谦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, 毛义骋 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Milltown's Christopher Stapleton. Christopher Stapleton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christopher Stapleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭鹰永, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Christopher Stapleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 毛义骋 went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Jon Dozier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milltown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 30 minutes into the game, Toby Couturier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 朱永康. Toby Couturier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 46 minutes of play, 深圳帆帆队's 毛义骋 made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Stapleton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Christopher Stapleton was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and 毛义骋 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 毛义骋 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. 高朗文 kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 深圳帆帆队's 彭鹰永 got a free kick in the 60th minute. 朱永康 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Williams Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, 彭鹰永 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 深圳帆帆队 and the Milltown players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Milltown booed when 深圳帆帆队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. 彭鹰永 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milltown's goalkeeper Christopher Stapleton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Dozier in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 朱永康 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, 深圳帆帆队's 洪峰振 got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jon Dozier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Milltown getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Art Jensen hit a great ball. When 谢青风 came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the 深圳帆帆队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 谢青风 couldn't finish the play. Williams Dempsey scored 4-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 朱永康, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christopher Stapleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 毛义骋, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to 深圳帆帆队 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. 彭鹰永 hit a great ball. Jon Dozier scored 6-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 朱永康, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If 麦斌广 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 高朗文 was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, 深圳帆帆队's 高朗文 got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 深圳帆帆队's 朱永康 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Couturier in the 96th minute of play. 深圳帆帆队's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
