In the 17th minute Wang Sha Qian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Cascade Park West got a corner. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amir Lee ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Wei Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Montes ran over to the corner to take the kick. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting a goal against them. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Montes in the 38th minute of the match. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Sha Qian in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Igor Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolland Hobbs hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Igor Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yin Wei Yi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Yin Wei Yi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Wei Yi got free with Dario Wilhelm in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Wilhelm was a little too slow when Yin Wei Yi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-1. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen was substituted for Yin Wei Yi. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Anselmo Valiente was substituted for Jacobo Garin. 70 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Baladi came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chad Busby made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jeremias Felo. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cascade Park West's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Montes was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Márk Stephen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dario Wilhelm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Chad Busby got a free kick in the 96th minute.
