When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Per Stenberg made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Per Stenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. If André Monclús had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Monclús, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Per Stenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Cordarell hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Per Stenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal and Per Stenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Rönnöfors FF defense, André Monclús kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. The Rönnöfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 91st minute. Arnaldo Gabon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rönnöfors FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA.
