Abel de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Hubert Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Abel de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Per Stenberg struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Yuri da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. Olivedos's Abel de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hubert Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Abel de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Wiktor Dahlman made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olivedos's Luís Novaes. After having played for 34 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Fagrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Yuri da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Biörnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Per Stenberg came free, but Yuri da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hubert Fagrell made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Parraga. Henry Fagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Hubert Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 61st minute of the match. Abel de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Per Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Stenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Parraga hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Per Tunström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri da Cunha was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
