The audience was convinced that Emil Wincek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Emil Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Società Sport Osasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Wincek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Emil Wincek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavao Zadro in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Società Sport Osasco had won after a very even match.
