The supporters of ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ booed when Курск ФК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasul Sysoev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Humberto Suazo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frutos Mallo. Курск ФК's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Suazo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Курск ФК's zone, Rubens Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos Mallo came out of the goal and Rubens Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Курск ФК's goalkeeper Frutos Mallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Suazo. In the 27th minute, Andrey Denisov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The throw-in from Carlo Bussi in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Курск ФК's Taras Baranov. Filimon Tarasov hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Humberto Suazo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Курск ФК's Frutos Mallo. Frutos Mallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the last second Frutos Mallo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Humberto Suazo in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Suazo in the 39th minute of play forced Курск ФК's goalkeeper Frutos Mallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Esteves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frutos Mallo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 42 minutes Курск ФК's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guilherme Ramos who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Carlo Bussi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Frutos Mallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Carlo Bussi in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Курск ФК's Taras Baranov. 66 minutes into the game, Andrey Denisov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Nicolas Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Armando Petrosino was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Valadares. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ made a substitution. Cody Miles replaced Rubens Esteves. The audience was convinced that Ranolfo Piedrahita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frutos Mallo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 78thth minute of the game Ranolfo Piedrahita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Курск ФК's Frutos Mallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frutos Mallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Petrosino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Basalaev in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Timofey Makogon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
