The THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Douglas D Agostino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Textex came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas D Agostino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. Richard Textex stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas D Agostino's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute THE CRYSTAL SHIP were awarded a corner. Borys Dudek went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute, Douglas D Agostino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Textex was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Douglas D Agostino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas D Agostino came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas D Agostino in the 30th minute of play. Sebati Rafih's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Richard Textex skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the game, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Newpi Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CRYSTAL SHIP the free kick. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Salvador Ermengol hit a great ball. Avram Tremurici's late challenge caught a Newpi Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avram Tremurici helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Avram Tremurici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Tonete came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Newpi Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tonete couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas D Agostino to make the kick off.
