Mendoza Joseph started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute C.A. GUAYACO were awarded a corner. Augusto Obarenes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.A. GUAYACO's Betão Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Balasi came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Balasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes C.A. GUAYACO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Sadurni who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Mendoza Joseph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Silverio Cordearo made a huge save. In the 19th minute Caicedo Berrondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Balasi came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 23rd minute of play. Benicio Balasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Aznaro in the 28th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Aznaro came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Balasi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Balasi in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cayetano Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Quake's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Aznaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oso Amezaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hieronim Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When CA Quake's Benicio Balasi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. CA Quake's Benicio Balasi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mendoza Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mendoza Joseph couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Balasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rdth minute of the game Benicio Balasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Andres Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Oso Amezaga made a huge save. CA Quake were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after C.A. GUAYACO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogelio Sadurni took the corner. Benicio Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oso Amezaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Quake made a substitution. Eloy Larra replaced Tomi Giusti. The supporters of CA Quake booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oso Amezaga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Gomez Berrahondo replaced Mateo Coviella. Silverio Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caicedo Berrondo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Mendoza Joseph came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oso Amezaga had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Benicio Balasi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Gomez Berrahondo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Benicio Balasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Agustin Pillado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Pillado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gomez Berrahondo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. GUAYACO's protests and gave Gomez Berrahondo a yellow card for diving instead. Benicio Balasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The CA Quake players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C.A. GUAYACO from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
