With a little luck, Amelie FC's Máximo Portero got control of the ball when Vasile Blănaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Blănaru came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Progresul Pitesti booed when Amelie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Amelie FC's Gösta Harman got a free kick in the 14th minute. Leonard Moise hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Máximo Portero was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Chorache Tofiño capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chorache Tofiño really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Silvanito in the 20th minute of the match. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard López, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Mugurel Ghiță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Ghiță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Tudor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Silvanito in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Progresul Pitesti's Chorache Tofiño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máximo Portero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Amelie FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Progresul Pitesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mugurel Ghiță took the corner. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Silvanito in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Saul Silvanito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Martin Tudor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mugurel Ghiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Martin Tudor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Blănaru was the one to do the kick off. Amelie FC's Máximo Portero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Blănaru in the 51st minute of play. Máximo Portero came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Progresul Pitesti's Vasile Blănaru. But to his dismay, Vasile Blănaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Karol Czempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Máximo Portero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amelie FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugurel Ghiță in the 59th minute. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard López in the 60th minute of play. Máximo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chorache Tofiño in the 61st minute of the match. Saul Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tudor having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Mugurel Ghiță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Ghiță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Idar Dyrstad hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Millano got free with Martin Tudor in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Silvanito in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved Progresul Pitesti from getting behind. Saul Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Progresul Pitesti's Dragoş Oloieru was substituted for Vasile Blănaru. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Progresul Pitesti from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Saul Silvanito put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Tudor. In the 93rd minute Saul Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Progresul Pitesti's Chorache Tofiño made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Portero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Progresul Pitesti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
