In the 10th minute, Claudinei Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franklin Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Loyola in the 12th minute of the match. Matías Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Fabinho Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekzema F.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fabinho Sarmento hit a great ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Franklin Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Araújo in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ekzema F.V.'s Márcio de Mendonça ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Seco. Gil Seco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Samuca Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AF CERRADO's Gil Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio de Mendonça in the 24th minute of play. Samuca Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Seco having to interfere. In the 28th minute Waldemar Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Waldemar Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Gil Seco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Batista during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Batista. Franklin Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Lima in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Gil Seco made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Gil Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Bueno. Eliseu Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseu Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Fabinho Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Bueno went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Lima's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Márcio de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Gil Seco. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 59 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Tróia. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Samuca Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Seco came out of the goal and Samuca Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bueno came free, but Gil Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Daniel Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AF CERRADO's Gil Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Daniel Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Seco came out of the goal and Daniel Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio de Mendonça in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Seco saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eliseu Senna hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes, Ekzema F.V.'s Fabinho Sarmento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekzema F.V. reached it. After 88 minutes, Daniel Bueno made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. AF CERRADO's Gil Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
