After 10 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Fontes. In the 11th minute of the match Denílson Vander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuca Bezerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Manoel Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Capivara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuca Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Leal in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Sampaio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Arnaldo Coutinho got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amauri Sampaio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Eduardo Arce got free with João Francisco Viana in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Eduardo Arces short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got João Francisco Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Eduardo Arce in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Viana saved Capivara FC from getting behind. João Francisco Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Viana made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Luís Eduardo Arce sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiaguinho Faria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Francisco Viana. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Faria in the 46th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Luís Eduardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabiano Negri came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Capivara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Negri couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Faria in the 59th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Sampaio. After 72 minutes of play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Francisco Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Perivaldo Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Tiaguinho Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Francisco Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Arce in the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's zone, Denílson Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Bezerra came out of the goal and Denílson Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
