After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund MZB's zone, Paulo Renato Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Mandrak came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MAZER SAF's Paulo Renato Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedrinho Mandrak. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Héctor Hernández received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho Mandrak came out and tried to block the shot, but Héctor Hernández slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Claudinei Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as MAZER SAF's Mathias Favoretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedrinho Mandrak. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 19 minutes, Paulo Renato Gonçalves made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Pedrinho Mandrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrinho Mandrak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Renato Gonçalves in the 22nd minute. Toninho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Macovei in the 23rd minute of play. Pedrinho Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Hernández in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Mathias Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Héctor Hernández mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZER SAF and the Borussia Dortmund MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández got a free kick in the 38th minute. Pedrinho Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Hernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho Reis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Mandrak was a little too slow when Paulo Renato Gonçalves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Héctor Hernández made the kick off in the second half. When Sérgio Tande fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund MZB's protests and gave Sérgio Tande a yellow card for diving instead. Héctor Hernández scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute André Luís Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund MZB defense, Paulo Renato Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Mandrak. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Mandrak should have stopped the shot. MAZER SAF's Doriva Carneiro was substituted for Paulo Renato Gonçalves. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Enéas Ceresso replaced Mathias Favoretto. In the 71st minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Aníbal Mandrak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aníbal Mandrak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Borussia Dortmund MZB protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aníbal Mandrak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Pedrinho Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Enéas Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, MAZER SAF's Doriva Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Mandrak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Marius Macovei came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toninho Schmidt could save by the left post. Luís Gustavo Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Júlio Donato pulled a muscle in his leg after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 97 minutes, Afonsinho Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZER SAF and the Borussia Dortmund MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Medeiros. MAZER SAF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
