Luiz Fernando Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Matías Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Everton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Arnaldo Branco fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. If Matías Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Everton came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Araújo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 69th minute. Lino Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
