In the 11th match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Leal in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th play minute Agnaldo Dias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Francisco Viana. 1-1. Sidnei Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Vieira to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Viana made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Oscar Veiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Rodrigo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Flavinho Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denílson Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Oscar Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Viana having to interfere. João Francisco Viana made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Oscar Veiga sent off a good shot on target. The GLADIADORES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capivara FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amauri Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guto Bastos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 59th playminute. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Denílson Vander got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Guto Bastos's late challenge caught a GLADIADORES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. GLADIADORES's Ian Cunha was substituted for Kléberson Leme. After 65 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Guto Bastos. Doriva Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Oscar Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIADORES's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Bastos in the 82nd minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Doriva Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Gaspar hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Vander. Edvaldo Leal took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Prado. Doriva Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Brodel in the 92nd minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
