The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuca Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Xavier came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ekzema F.V.'s Samuca Tróia. But to his dismay, Samuca Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joélson Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. José Paulo Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Tróia in the 60th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Geovani Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ and the Ekzema F.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Donatello in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesinha Mazza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Cordeiro. That made the score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Márcio de Mendonça hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes, Ekzema F.V.'s Fabinho Sarmento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Paulo Xavier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekzema F.V. reached it. Geovani Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Cordeiro having to interfere. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
