The wind increased when Luís Fábio Goiano made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when César Coelho came free, but Doriva Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Dias's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 59thth minute of the game Oscar Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brasiliense FC's Geovanni Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Dino Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Veiga in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Geovanni Almeida made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Veiga. After 79 minutes, Dino Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GLADIADORES and the Brasiliense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
