Zé Pedro Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Cordeiro. Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Goiano in the 21st minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Goiano in the 24th minute of play. Didi Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Lago's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duda Lago helped the player get up and apologised. Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Duda Lago commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Ekzema F.V.'s Duda Lago got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Goiano came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Daniel Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matheus Aparecido charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Aparecido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matheus Aparecido hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Arruda in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fábio Goiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Cordeiro. That made the score 2-1 in the 85 minute of play. Geovanni Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Batista in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Luís Fábio Goiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sílvio Cordeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Arruda got free with Sílvio Cordeiro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
