Cristian Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernani Cearense during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Ernani Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseu Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Senna in the 10th minute of the match. Raúl Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Duarte came free, but Gil Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Alves to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Raúl Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses de Salles hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gil Seco came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte. But to his dismay, Cristian Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ulisses de Salles hit a great ball. Wanderson Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Matías Lima struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Willian Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. Clóvis Motta hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Matías Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Raúl Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Seco having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Duarte in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matías Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Duarte's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses de Salles. Lino Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Lima in the 75th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Eliseu Senna took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Willian Loyola to make any attempt to save it. Luisinho Silva took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Seco. Gil Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, AF CERRADO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
