Agnaldo Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Veiga in the 31st minute of play. Agnaldo Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agnaldo Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Veiga in the 48th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Fabinho Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Veiga in the 59th minute. Zeca Guimarães's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabinho Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
