Sidney Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Pernambucano in the 17th minute of the match. Sidney Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Kempel went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 3-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Cesinha Mazza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sidney Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Adriano Matorin got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
