Henrique Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. João Francisco Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Geraldo Saraiva got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Henrique Lago made a precise shot to the right of João Francisco Viana. Capivara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Leal in the 21st minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Pedrinho Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Mandrak's late challenge caught a Capivara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Capivara FC's João Francisco Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Lago in the 26th minute of play. Guto Bastos might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrinho Mandrak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guto Bastos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Guto Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Borussia Dortmund MZB's Pedrinho Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Bastos in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Borussia Dortmund MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Guto Bastos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 63 minutes, Dorival Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivara FC and the Borussia Dortmund MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dorival Carvalho hit a great ball. Cristiano Furlan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Francisco Viana. Capivara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedrinho Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Leal in the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Guto Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Mandrak. Borussia Dortmund MZB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Henrique Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Cristiano Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Guto Bastos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedrinho Mandrak. Guto Bastos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Capivara FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
