Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Sampaio in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Edvaldo Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Geraldo Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Amauri Sampaio made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Edvaldo Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edvaldo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Leal notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Edvaldo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Amauri Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Leal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabinho Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Capivara FC's Rodrigo Gomes was substituted for Fabiano Negri. Fabinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With an all-out effort, Capivara FC's Fabinho Arruda threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amauri Sampaio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Capivara FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tarrasque Voador F.C. throughout the match.
