Kaká Goiano started the match with the kick off. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius das Neves in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Mendes came free, but José Augusto de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Renatinho Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. José Augusto de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Vinícius das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Severino Mendes got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Rodolfo de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaká Goiano got free with Sydney Barros in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granadero10's Tiago Sena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AF CERRADO. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Gugu Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto de Godoi came out of the goal and Gugu Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinícius das Neves was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho de Salles. Tiago Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but José Augusto de Godoi made a huge save. Sydney Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Goiano went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Giuseppe Seco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Didi Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Barros came out of the goal and Didi Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Goiano in the 66th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Kaká Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sydney Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Travassos in the 70th minute of play. Kaká Goiano took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Barros. Sydney Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. José Augusto de Godoi stood somewhat misplaced when Vinícius das Neves came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 77 minute. Granadero10's Tiago Sena shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Augusto de Godoi but with some difficulty. José Augusto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Sena. Pedro Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius das Neves to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AF CERRADO fully deserved thier win.
