Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Boldrini in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Adriano Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA the free kick. After 8 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Cunha. Carlos Augusto Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero da Costa in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Rene Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Boldrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Arí Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor got control of the ball when Caio Boldrini tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Adolfo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Facundo Guerrero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Augusto Recife showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Arí Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Recife was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero da Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arí Machado took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Recife. Carlos Augusto Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Felippe Paranaense got a free kick in the 60th minute. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Tuste in the 61st minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Recife came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Arí Machado. But to his dismay, Arí Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero da Costa got free with Carlos Augusto Recife in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Soeiro in the 71st minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero da Costa in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Tuste in the 80th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Tuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Cícero da Costa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife. Carlos Augusto Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Augusto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palmeiras throughout the match.
