Sydney Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 28th minute Dudu Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a corner. Granadero10's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 曹 楚城 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s corner 曹 楚城 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sydney Barros quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st minute Dudu Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 34 minutes on the clock, Renan Alvarenga commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Granadero10 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Gustavo Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Vinícius das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Tostão Xavier hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by 曹 楚城.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. Sydney Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo de Lara in the 55th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Gustavo Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Valdomiro Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ronaldinho Gaucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Emil Mjølner was substituted for 曹 楚城. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Miguel Botelho was substituted for Dudu Berger. A nice corner shot did that Tostão Xavier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sydney Barros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd minute, Tostão Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ronaldinho Gaucho got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ronaldinho Gaucho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sydney Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Sydney Barros came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ronaldinho Gaucho. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Gaucho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Sydney Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tostão Xavier in the 90th minute. Miguel Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
