When Zac Ba Loua came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zac Ba Loua couldn't finish the play. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Chaves in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Deng Zhen Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo de Mendonça was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
