Ardwyad Vulcan made a great header on CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's corner, it was just that Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife managed to reach the ball for a save. Arí Machado took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Recife. Carlos Augusto Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero da Costa in the 67th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
