After 42 minutes, Emílio Ceresso made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save.
