Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 12th minute, Ronaldinho Joinvilense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cris Bala was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Sarmento came free, but Javiero Milei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Adrian Ďumbier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cris Bala. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cris Bala should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Adrian Ďumbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Bala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Joinvilense in the 41st minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Brasiliense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grêmio RK75 were winning 0-2.

Despite this Cris Bala quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Cris Bala got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Joinvilense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brasiliense FC's Cris Bala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Joinvilense in the 63rd minute of play.
