The referee ignored Dragões de Campo Grande's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kev Higgins in the 10th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Dragões de Campo Grande:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Harchester United:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Harchester United. Marty Schofield stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Santos. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Téo Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Téo Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rafael Travassos hit a great ball. When Téo Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Dragões de Campo Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Campidelis couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragões de Campo Grande's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Les Cooke was slow to take the kick. During this time Harchester United's players had a chance to rest. After 39 minutes, Marty Schofield made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kev Higgins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Antônio Cosme hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hayden Hickson's late challenge caught a Dragões de Campo Grande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayden Hickson helped the player get up and apologised. Hayden Hickson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thomas Mitchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Silva in the 53rd minute of play. Hugo Santos was a little too slow when Marty Schofield got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. Hugo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Schofield, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th match minute, Harchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kev Higgins to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kev Higgins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. Josh Wiltshire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hugo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Santos was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Marty Schofield capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marty Schofield really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Hugo Santos came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Harchester United's Marty Schofield. But to his dismay, Marty Schofield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Higgins in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Schofield came free, but Hugo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Harchester United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kev Higgins hit a great ball. The supporters of Harchester United booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Harchester United fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Harchester United's Marty Schofield looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Harchester United played a much better game than Dragões de Campo Grande and deserved their victory. The Dragões de Campo Grande players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
