Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ennio De Nardis kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Ennio De Nardis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willian Loyola was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 11th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Pallotta to maneuver through the defense. Ernani Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Raúl Maia hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Ennio De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Concetto Garibaldi made a huge save. Angelo Pallotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. The supporters of XMAS booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Ascoli came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Ennio De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Morro Grande E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. XMAS were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by César Vinhas. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ferruccio Cesaroni managed to get in a good position for a shot. XMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Cesaroni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ennio De Nardis 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Raúl Maia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino got a free kick in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alessio Ascoli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willian Loyola. That made the score 0-3 in the 73 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ennio De Nardis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XMAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Christian Zaccardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Willian Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Clóvis Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the XMAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Clóvis Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio De Nardis might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ennio De Nardis ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded XMAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Morro Grande E.C.
