In the 4th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Floricel to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, SK Dreigoten's Douglas Cortens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marian Ciolpan. Marian Ciolpan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nicolaas De Cat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Floricel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Marin in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolaas De Cat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Marin came free, but Nicolaas De Cat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valeriu Floricel hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Manuel Marghescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas De Cat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ionuț Marin made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas De Cat. SK Dreigoten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vintilă Chelaru charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vintilă Chelaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Van Houtvinc got free with Marian Ciolpan in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolaas De Cat came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's Manuel Marghescu. But to his dismay, Manuel Marghescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marian Ciolpan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Bosbeeck in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Marghescu in the 46th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Nicolaas De Cat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SK Dreigoten players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paralia Athens were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loui De Wulf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Floricel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Manuel Marghescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ionuț Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolaas De Cat was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Ionuț Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas De Cat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionuț Marin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolaas De Cat. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Marghescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paralia Athens's Marian Ciolpan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cortens in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Felix Cocârlă hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Ewout Valckenaers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Ciolpan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Ţugui to maneuver through the defense. SK Dreigoten's Nicolaas De Cat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Marghescu in the 91st minute of play. Marian Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Bosbeeck in the 93rd minute of the match.
