Yoyo Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Marin in the 6th minute of the match. With his leg Marian Ciolpan managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wawa Doro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Petru Marioteanu hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ionuț Marin sped through Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yoyo Doro. Marian Ciolpan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawa Doro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Felix Cocârlă got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Wawa Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Pârvuță during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gică Pârvuță hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Viorel Pârlog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marian Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawa Doro in the 27th minute of the match. Manuel Marghescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Marghescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Marghescu. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paralia Athens were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wawa Doro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yoyo Doro made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ionuț Marin sent off a good shot on target. When Manuel Marghescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Marian Ciolpan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Pârlog's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Viorel Pârlog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Ciolpan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Marin in the 75th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Yoyo Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Ciolpan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wawa Doro's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Viorel Pârlog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yoyo Doro had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Valeriu Floricel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Ionuț Marin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yoyo Doro. Ionuț Marin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paralia Athens walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
