After having played for 10 minutes, Moise Stejaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Stejaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Stejaru during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Moise Stejaru. The long shot by Petru Marioteanu in the 16th minute really tested Bill Severyns's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 17 minutes of play, SK Dreigoten's Loui De Wulf made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yoyo Doro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Pârlog got free with Bill Severyns in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viorel Pârlog took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Severyns. Bill Severyns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loui De Wulf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Petru Marioteanu in the 28th minute really tested Bill Severyns's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bill Severyns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawa Doro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Douglas Cortens hit a great ball. Wawa Doro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Bill Severyns 35 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Viorel Pârlog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bill Severyns. That made the score 3-1 after 40 minutes of play. Douglas Cortens hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Petru Marioteanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bill Severyns showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loui De Wulf to make the kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Moise Stejaru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moise Stejaru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 54 played minutes, SK Dreigoten's Ewout Valckenaers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yoyo Doro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Dreigoten reached it. Bill Severyns came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wawa Doro. But to his dismay, Wawa Doro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Panaiteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes, SK Dreigoten's Ewout Valckenaers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yoyo Doro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Bill Severyns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawa Doro in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richmond Van Doren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henri Van Houtvinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bill Severyns didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Mugur Alexandrescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
