Ambrosio Romildo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Odysseus De Souza struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Arturo Sengrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lugano. Matteo Gartenmann kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Salbatore came free, but Max Sevier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matteo Gartenmann to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Lugano defense, Angelo Nazario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Sevier. The FC Lugano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Sevier should have stopped the shot. Arturo Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tade Zeller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arturo Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Buser during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Lugano made a substitution. Tiziano Gamache replaced Matteo Gartenmann. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Maximilian Buser got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Rivermania FC booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseus De Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, Rivermania FC's Angelo Nazario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Max Sevier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rivermania FC reached it. In the 56th minute Ubaldo Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Sevier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Arturo Sengrat managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when FC Lugano's Odysseus De Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Tito Waechter got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Lugano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
