But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Jhon Stones made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adolfo Jacindo immediately put the ball in play. In the 15th minute, Ezequiel Ortiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pete Luna. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 20th minute, Ezequiel Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Gaston Izel in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Torreão OFF's Ján Griščík. When Ezequiel Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Torreão OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Zézinho Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 27th minute of play. Zézinho Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Hori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zézinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 34th minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Zézinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Torreão OFF got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Hillgaard. After having played for 39 minutes, Ezequiel Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torreão OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes Torreão OFF got a freekick which was hit by Kaur Laving. A collision led to Torreão OFF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eduardo Prado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Jacindo in the 46th minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Zézinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Jacindo was the one to do the kick off. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Torreão OFF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaur Laving in the 53rd minute. Gaston Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Gaston Izel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Torreão OFF booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Izel during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaston Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kane Einstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zézinho Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darkness's Pete Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ezequiel Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darkness's Pete Luna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaston Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Zézinho Freitas made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Kane Einstein sent off a good shot on target. Torreão OFF's Ezequiel Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Hazard came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match Torreão OFF got a corner. Darkness's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaur Laving ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Torreão OFF's Ján Griščík to a score. 2-1 in the 92nd minute. The Torreão OFF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
