Eustaquio Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Monsanto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Germano Lage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Tuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albardón F.C the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Tuga FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Sporting Tuga FC:s Alfredo Santana showed great skill when he stopped Aureliano Buendia:s penalty. Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Buendia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Alfredo Santana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Manuel Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Tuga FC's zone, Aureliano Buendia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Santana came out of the goal and Aureliano Buendia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sporting Tuga FC's Alfredo Santana got control of the ball when Aureliano Buendia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Juan Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albardón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aureliano Buendia took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Santana. Alfredo Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alfredo Santana made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Aureliano Buendia sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Aureliano Buendia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Santana. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Figueiredo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Albardón F.C's Aureliano Buendia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Aureliano Buendia made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Santana. Sporting Tuga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Aureliano Buendia might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Tuga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
