Grzegorz Siekierski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 20 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Boldrini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Guerra in the 21st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Medero Gadea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Diniz in the 52nd minute of play. Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Marcus Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grzegorz Siekierski. GeRaÇãO-83's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. César Boldrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Gadea in the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Medero Gadea in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Boldrini saved Vila Industrial FC from getting behind. Fırat Çakıroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Siekierski made a huge save. Vila Industrial FC made a substitution. Jacinto Ramos replaced Enrique Leite. Vila Industrial FC's Arthur Guedes was substituted for Marcus Diniz. Vila Industrial FC's David Beckham was substituted for Fırat Çakıroğlu. In the 85th minute Medero Gadea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Siekierski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. Arrigo Tonon hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over Vila Industrial FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GeRaÇãO-83 throughout the match.
