Cenap Hallaçoğlu started the match with the kick off. Volkan Tokdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC KALELİ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cihan De Bruyne in the 6th minute. FC KALELİ's Flávio Azzaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Godo Gøl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 17th minute, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Cihan De Bruyne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KALELİ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lugano the free kick. In the 19th match minute, FC KALELİ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan De Bruyne to maneuver through the defense. Volkan Tokdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vico Sticher in the 27th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qiao Jian made a kick off. Godo Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Lugano's Volkan Tokdemir threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the game, Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Volkan Tokdemir. Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 66thth minute of the game Qiao Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KALELİ's Volkan Tokdemir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Lugano's Vico Sticher got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul in the 74th minute of play forced FC KALELİ's goalkeeper Volkan Tokdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when FC KALELİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihan De Bruyne didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC KALELİ's Volkan Tokdemir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC KALELİ from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Qiao Jian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volkan Tokdemir. Jerome Achen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Nazil Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KALELİ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After having played for 90 minutes, Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Qiao Jian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volkan Tokdemir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 96th minute Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Tokdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC KALELİ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Lugano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
