Govert Kool started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alexander Mendoza hit a great ball. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrik Wacherhausen kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökberk Özgenc in the 9th minute of play. Taco Zwartkruis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökberk Özgenc went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Taco Zwartkruis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Kuster in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökberk Özgenc in the 15th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi van der Struijk. The audience was convinced that Gökberk Özgenc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taco Zwartkruis was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökberk Özgenc in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Zwartkruis saved Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting behind. Taco Zwartkruis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Baggio in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Roberto Baggio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westra Aros SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Baggio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taco Zwartkruis came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc. But to his dismay, Gökberk Özgenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Julian Kool got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Roberto Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taco Zwartkruis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökberk Özgenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taco Zwartkruis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Baggio went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gökberk Özgenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westra Aros SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökberk Özgenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taco Zwartkruis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Baggio in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Westra Aros SK's Roberto Baggio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taco Zwartkruis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Westra Aros SK made a substitution. Jörn Hylander replaced Normando Portillo. 57 minutes into the game, Julian Kool threw the ball into play from the sideline. Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Kool's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Kool helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Kool kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingo Kuster in the 61st minute of play. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ingo Kuster 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Kool, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Westra Aros SK's zone, Ferdi van der Struijk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Västlund came out of the goal and Ferdi van der Struijk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Jenaro's late challenge caught a Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Jenaro helped the player get up and apologised. Ismael Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander got a free kick in the 88th minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Ferdi van der Struijk kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Julian Kool made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mathijs Stroobos immediately put the ball in play. When the final whistle sounded Westra Aros SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn.
