Cliff Gottschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Braulio Neto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cliff Gottschalk. Braulio Neto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 22 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Neto. Zoran Zahrádka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Nuessli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Zuberbühler FC's corner Braulio Gauargi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cliff Gottschalk quite easily take care of the ball. Zuberbühler FC's Virgilio Gonzales managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Johnny Raiola in the 32 minute of the game. Cliff Gottschalk made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Braulio Neto sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Tarada defense, Braulio Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cliff Gottschalk. The Tarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cliff Gottschalk should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Schäppi to maneuver through the defense. If Elvio Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Bohren during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tarada's Wolf Ehrenbolger was substituted for Mick Racine. In the 55thth minute of the game Wilfredo Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarada's Cliff Gottschalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Neto in the 60th minute of play. Braulio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cliff Gottschalk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 74 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Neto. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Henri Schäppi hit a great ball. Braulio Neto struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cliff Gottschalk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler FC. After 88 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Crispo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolf Ehrenbolger in the 89th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Zoran Zahrádka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Wolf Ehrenbolger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zoran Zahrádka. Wolf Ehrenbolger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Gil Fritsch put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tarada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zuberbühler FC had won after a very even match.
