A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Normando Portillo hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Braulio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuberbühler FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Braulio Neto in the 27th minute. Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Västlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gökberk Özgenc 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Stig Waller hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's Wilfredo Vargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Västlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Baggio made a kick off. Zuberbühler FC's Zoran Zahrádka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökberk Özgenc in the 53rd minute of play. Wilfredo Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Västlund having to interfere. Westra Aros SK made a substitution. Ismael Jenaro replaced Roberto Baggio. Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander was substituted for Normando Portillo. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Elvio Crispo hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Tano Gutiérrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westra Aros SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Tano Gutiérrez got a free kick in the 66th minute. Alexander Mendoza charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Mendoza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Mendoza. The audience was convinced that Ismael Jenaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zoran Zahrádka was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Zoran Zahrádka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 77th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
