In the 11th minute Noureddine Belhadj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Sport Club Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Troy Hutton. 18 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Cordarryl came free, but Acácio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roseira EC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Sport Club Corinthians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zīn ud-Dīn Bey took the corner. The supporters of Roseira EC booed when Sport Club Corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Delarosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Mauricio Cordarryl made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Vasco. Sport Club Corinthians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Belhadj in the 36th minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Corinthians's Troy Hutton got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Noureddine Belhadj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Roseira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zīn ud-Dīn Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zīn ud-Dīn Bey during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Roseira EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zīn ud-Dīn Bey hit a great ball. Teodoro Stiles kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Wilmer Ward hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Roseira EC's Mauricio Cordarryl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Acácio Vasco. Acácio Vasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 66th minute, Sport Club Corinthians's Khairil Swee seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Khairil Swee the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sport Club Corinthians protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Khairil Swee had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Sport Club Corinthians:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roseira EC:s goal. Sport Club Corinthians:s Acácio Vasco showed great skill when he stopped Zīn ud-Dīn Bey:s penalty. Cesar Delarosa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Belhadj in the 80th minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Cordarryl. In the 90th minute Sebastian Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Roseira EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
