In the 14th minute, JUNICO Ełk's Zbigniew Orling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariusz Modrzewski. Mariusz Modrzewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 18 minutes, Juliusz Gniewek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUNICO Ełk and the FC Cavia Pyskowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes JUNICO Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Gniewek. When Jaroslaw Mindykowski fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cavia Pyskowice's protests and gave Jaroslaw Mindykowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes FC Cavia Pyskowice got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Mindykowski. When Yu Hui Peng came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the JUNICO Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yu Hui Peng couldn't finish the play. Mariusz Modrzewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milton Nascimento in the 27th minute. Milton Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mariusz Modrzewski made a huge save. Mariusz Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Orling in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes FC Cavia Pyskowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tanek Liermann who took care of the corner kick. The JUNICO Ełk fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Cavia Pyskowice had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
