An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 2nd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Kacem von Felten. 24 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Papapetrou came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argyris Papapetrou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damazy Kensicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Tomasz Sobania blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rıza Vuralhan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 28th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Sobania in the 34th minute of play. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Georg Glad got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Soczewki Gliwice defense, Argyris Papapetrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damazy Kensicki. The Soczewki Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Kensicki should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes, Kayhan Canfeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soczewki Gliwice and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Soczewki Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Canfeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmar Roorda got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 54th minute of the match. Rıza Vuralhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Sobania's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A hard shot by Jesus Frisco from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Rıza Vuralhan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Soczewki Gliwice's Zdzislaw Witek was substituted for Thiago Rossi. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jesus Frisco hit a great ball. When Henk Cardinaal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Soczewki Gliwice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Cardinaal couldn't finish the play. Edgar Matela hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Soczewki Gliwice defense, Argyris Papapetrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damazy Kensicki. The Soczewki Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Kensicki should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Karl-Michael Kristiansson hit a great ball. Herman Källberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Soczewki Gliwice's Herman Källberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tommy Asklöv in the 94 minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Bo Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strömsbro IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soczewki Gliwice for a fine match.
