In the 4th minute Marcelo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The Japyra EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 40 minutes in the game, Rudolf Strömberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorginho Rosado having to interfere. Tibro's Rudolf Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tibro defense, Marcelo Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Brander. The Tibro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Brander should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

57 minutes into the match, Raimundo Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Brander. Tibro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Leopoldo Meira with Cláudio Meirelles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Håkan Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 78th minute, Japyra EC's Marcelo Mello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When Alvar Smefeldt fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibro's protests and gave Alvar Smefeldt a yellow card for diving instead. Alvar Smefeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Samuel Utter's late challenge caught a Japyra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Utter helped the player get up and apologised. Samuel Utter hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Japyra EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
