After some careless play in the Karkamis defense, Juninho Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rahim Okseven. The Karkamis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahim Okseven should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Renan Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rahim Okseven. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 19th minute, Karkamis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renan Soares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Passo Fundo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç Ergüç came free, but Jonas de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahim Okseven came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Passo Fundo SC's Juninho Teles. But to his dismay, Juninho Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. With a little luck, Karkamis's Rahim Okseven got control of the ball when Renan Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodriguinho da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Passo Fundo SC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Passo Fundo SC's Renan Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Motta couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Passo Fundo SC's Adalberto Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rahim Okseven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aytaç Ergüç to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Passo Fundo SC's Juninho Teles made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahim Okseven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adalberto Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Rahim Okseven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter da Silva during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Passo Fundo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter da Silva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Passo Fundo SC's Luizão Zonta got a free kick in the 94th minute.
