Prachuab Maneewat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fairfax United's Yongyuth Namwang got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernst Britz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernst Britz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Tibro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Britz to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Chanyut Kantongdee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hjalmar Brander. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Tibro booed when Fairfax United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wittayu Harnsri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prachuab Maneewat might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hjalmar Brander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prachuab Maneewat ran back to his position shaking his head. Hjalmar Brander made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Chanyut Kantongdee sent off a good shot on target. Yongyuth Namwang hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Tibro got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Hedström. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chanyut Kantongdee got free with Hjalmar Brander in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chanyut Kantongdee was the one to do the kick off. Wissarut Nuimeem kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Yongyuth Namwang hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fairfax United booed when Tibro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes Fairfax United got a freekick which was hit by Chanyut Kantongdee. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Chanyut Kantongdee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fairfax United's supporters rose to their feet, but Chanyut Kantongdee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Brander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hjalmar Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prachuab Maneewat, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Tibro defense, Chanyut Kantongdee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Brander. The Tibro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Brander should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Prachuab Maneewat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fairfax United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fairfax United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tibro for a fine match.
