Passo Fundo SC's Jonas de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frantz Daham in the 4th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Juninho Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valley Stream's Amar Maillot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Djamal Akrour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Karim Diafat fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 24th minute, Djamal Akrour left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valley Stream fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Renan Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Passo Fundo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valley Stream the free kick. Valley Stream's Amar Maillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Soares in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Djamal Akrour fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Valley Stream's Yacine Kouri got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Juninho Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Maillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Renan Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amar Maillot was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Djamal Akrour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Abd al-Asis Belkhadem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valley Stream's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd al-Asis Belkhadem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Valley Stream booed when Passo Fundo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Raphael Motta in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valley Stream's Frantz Daham. Adalberto Motta got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Djamal Akrour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Djamal Akrour elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonas de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamal Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djamal Akrour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonas de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter da Silva made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valley Stream's Abd al-Asis Belkhadem. Frantz Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas de Toledo having to interfere. If Yacine Kouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Passo Fundo SC booed when Valley Stream was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abd al-Asis Belkhadem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valley Stream walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
