Chanyut Kantongdee took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Havier. Eriberto Havier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 44 played minutes Fairfax United got a freekick which was hit by Sompol Intamas. When Alejo Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Garín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chanyut Kantongdee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute of the match, Chanyut Kantongdee tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Havier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fairfax United to win.
